DNA Sequence Analyzer
Developed a Python-based bioinformatics tool to analyze DNA sequences, calculate nucleotide composition, perform RNA transcription, and translate genetic sequences into proteins.
Sequence analysis starts with a valid input. Counting A, T, G and C gives a base-composition summary; GC content is the proportion made up of guanine and cytosine.
Transcription and translation provide a second view of the sequence. The tool links these steps in a command-line workflow, so the numerical summary and the biological interpretation can be read together.
